START EACH DAY - TALKING WITH GOD

I know life can be really hard to navigate. No one has ever walked this earth that hasn't had serious challenges. No one.  We all share challenges unique and just for us. FOR US? 

What do you mean for us?

Every difficulty in our lives is to push us to grow spiritually. Every rough spot, every person who takes advantage of us, who hurts us, every time we experience disappointment, loss, injury, illness, this is an opportunity to grow closer to God and stronger than ever before.

God is there waiting to help you, hold you, comfort you. He asks only for your FAITH in Him and a relationship with you.

I lost my husband at age 60. We were high school sweethearts, we were married at nineteen, and so in love. An angel appeared to me one night and said these words: ?You will never find anyone who will love you more.? I listened. I heeded to the Angel and spent the next 40+ years with my husband. Let's agree?if an Angel appears; you better listen!

The day he left, we talked about how much we still loved each other. We spoke of our hearts skipping a beat when we saw each other. I believe ours was a once in a lifetime kind of love. 

In an instant my entire world was turned upside down and inside out.  It has been 10 years, and my heart still feels there is ? missing. In heaven, he holds that other ?.

I had started reading JESUS CALLING a few years before my darling husband passed. I enjoyed the lessons and bible study so much, I made it a part of my mornings. I got up early just to spend time reading this tiny book and then the scripture it recommended, if I had obligations that day. 

This book saved my life. I mean that. My faith sustained me during the most difficult time I had ever faced ALONE. My children were all grown and married and they were so loving and kind. I do not mean I did not have my darlings. What I mean is the person who held my heart since I was fifteen was no longer physically standing by my side. I didn't know what day the trash went out or where it went?I was so lost.

I turned to God. I made a promise that I would do my very best in Jesus' Name to overcome the loss. This book had prepared me with learning God's words, with Jesus's teachings, to understand I was NOT ALONE. GOD WAS WITH ME AND HELPING ME EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF EVERY SINGLE DAY AND NIGHT. I had to do MY BEST?.no matter how hard it was; and God would be working to turn things around in my favor.

I hurt so deeply, so intensely?.if I had not studied God's Word?.I am not sure I would be here today.
